Project Overview:

The Kiwanis-Soroptimist Senior Citizens Society, a longstanding organization in Vancouver, co-owns and manages a 90-unit affordable housing complex for seniors at 8080 Yukon, and has partnered with Purpose Driven Development as the Development Lead for a transformative intergenerational redevelopment delivering over 900 units of mixed-income rental homes across four buildings in two phases.

As a vibrant, intergenerational community located at a transit node, Southwynd Place Redevelopment is set to become a cornerstone of Vancouver’s community. This groundbreaking initiative aims to tackle the pressing housing crisis in the city. By creating a master-planned community that blends mixed-income rental options with integrated amenities focused on health and wellness, Southwynd Place will foster an inclusive atmosphere where seniors, families, and young professionals can thrive together.
